Push-Pull Controls & Type B Choke Controls
Type B choke controls may seem obsolete, but there are plenty of classic engines out there that need them. Fortunately, you can still get choke controls from ClipsAndFasteners.com. Our push-pull cable controls use a handle or dash-mounted knob to move a cable attached to the carburetor’s choke lever. This allows the driver to operate the choke without being next to the engine. We offer knobs as well as replacement cables that fit most vehicles.
Push-pull controls were common on cars up until the 1960s, and were still used in a handful of vehicles up until the 1980s. They’re also used in some custom engine builds because they’re simple and offer more user control than an automatic choke.
